Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. Seventeen boys in Sacramento, California made up the first Key Club in 1925, and today the organization is active in 20 nations and includes over 5,000 clubs. More than 2 million youth have enlisted in Key Club since its inception, including many who are now top government and business leaders.
Green River Kiwanis sponsors Key Clubs at Harrison High School, Memorial High School and North High School.
Other local Key Clubs are located at Central High School, Evansville Day School, and Signature School.
